Mathur Ladies Teej Party

With immense pride and joy, I, Aparna Mathur, reflect on the successful planning and execution of the 'Gorgeous Mathur Ladies Teej Milan' on the 11th of August, 2024. This unforgettable event would not have been possible without the dedication and expertise of my highly capable core committee members. I am deeply grateful to my team, whose sincerity and skills turned this concept into a memorable reality.
The journey began when I envisioned the event and created a dedicated WhatsApp group. From there, I developed the idea of celebrating the vibrant Teej festival. By the last week of June, I invited all committee members to a crucial meeting at Oberoi Mall. New volunteers eagerly stepped forward, adding fresh energy to the team. We swiftly organized ourselves into specialized committees: Finance, Games & Entertainment, Gifts, Car Pool, Decoration, and Food & Venue and our videography team. Each group embraced its responsibilities with enthusiasm, skillfully addressing the 'when,' 'what,' and 'how' of the event.
Securing the venue and finalizing the food arrangements were our first priorities. The Food & Venue committee worked tirelessly, visiting numerous potential locations before selecting the ideal Nanavati Choksi Hall in Santacruz West. Their efforts ensured a perfect setting for our celebration.
The Finance committee was remarkable in managing the collection and allocation of funds with precision. The smooth, hassle-free process exceeded expectations, and we had to close registrations early to maintain the high standard we aimed for. The food committee truly outdid themselves, curating a sumptuous menu featuring five starters, four main course dishes, and two delectable desserts. The live pizza and pani puri counters added a delightful monsoon charm, leaving our gorgeous guests thrilled.
Our Gifts committee thoughtfully selected meaningful takeaways that captured the essence of Teej, while the Games & Entertainment committee brought the spirit of the festival to life. Their beautifully crafted skit illustrated the significance of Teej, and the dazzling fashion show honored the unique bonds between mother-daughter, mother-in-law-daughter-in-law, sisters, friends, and more.
The beautiful monsoon medley was amazing. The Car Pool committee worked seamlessly, coordinating transport for ladies from all across Mumbai. Their efforts brought everyone together with ease. Meanwhile, the Decoration team transformed the venue into a visual feast, paying special attention to even the smallest details. They ensured that the space was not only beautiful but also accessible for the senior citizens among us.
Last but not least, our videography team covered the whole event beautifully.
From start to finish, every moment was curated with love, care, and dedication. The vibrant day became a cherished memory, touching the hearts of all who attended. The beauty of that day will live on, not just in the stunning photographs, but in the suhana yaadein (sweet memories) etched in our hearts forever.
